Trilithon Partners was started in 2006 as a flexible resource for companies looking to improve their marketing and communications services. Our role in your organization is based on your needs and your culture – internal consultant to the CEO, transitional member of your staff, free lance marketing practitioner, or independent counsel. Over the past four years, we’ve successfully contributed in each of these roles. These contributions are based on 20 years of experience with internationally-recognized brands, local businesses and nonprofit organizations. John Klein is the principal of Trilithon Partners, holding both a BA and MA in Organizational Communication from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
The quest for marketing and consumer insight usually reaches into every part of the company. It also extends outside to advertising agencies and design firms hired to serve those needs. Since consumers and media are wildly-moving targets these days, there is considerable effort – constructive and otherwise – to find the unique set of solutions to link a company’s product to their consumer. Our success in these environments is based on acting as a focal point and catalyst at the same time; bringing people, ideas, tools and programs together that result in the best mix of messages and media at the most efficient cost.
“Marketing” used to be a dirty word in non profit arenas. No longer. Donors, patrons, subscribers, ticket holders are bombarded with messages, requests, pleas, offers to support non-profit causes. And most of these causes are worthy of their support. However, how does one choose the right cause and the right organization serving it? We help non profits identify the best market and demographic segments, create the most compelling argument for support, determine the best mix of media to reach those segments, and do so within the scope of limited financial resources. “Audience development” is often the term used to describe this and we’ve created successful outcomes in civic, regional and arts organizations.
